How to Enjoy Your Flight
Here are a few tips and recommendations to get the MOST out of your flight:
- Dress in layers
- Apply sunscreen before the flight
- Wear closed toe shoes
- Long casual pants tend to be best as you’ll have to climb in and out of the basket
- Hats are recommended
- Bring a camera for some great shots!
- You’re allowed to bring a small bag to carry small items like a camera, water bottle, etc.
Please do keep in mind that Hot Air Ballooning is a fair weather sport. All flights are contingent upon the weather conditions during our scheduled flight time, which may not be what the forecasts called for.
Since the PRO Operator pilots’ number one priority is the safety of our passengers, weather conditions can sometimes lead to last minute cancellations of flights at the launch site.
We unfortunately cannot fly anyone who is pregnant and we do not allow any oxygen tanks on board. If anyone in your party has had any recent surgeries, back/knee/leg injuries, or broken bones, we recommend they consult their doctor and fly with after they have healed.
